WEISHENG · FOOTWEAR DEVELOPMENT
Logo & Footwear BrandingReview authorized artwork on the actual product.
Footwear branding brings artwork, placement, material and construction together. Weisheng can discuss logos, labels and visual identity within the agreed development scope, with authorized brand use and sample expectations clarified before approval.

A branding brief should include authorized artwork, intended placement, size, color and relevant product references. The application method and final appearance need review against the actual material and construction. A mock-up is a proposal, not a production approval or proof of brand authorization.
01 · PROJECT SCOPE
Make the artwork and application scope explicit
The company profile recommends agreeing intellectual property and authorized brand use for OEM, ODM and private-label inquiries. The development discussion should connect those responsibilities with clear artwork versions and the sample used for approval.
Artwork and authorization
Provide the current brand assets and confirm the right to use them. Identify which mark, text or design is included and which party approves the artwork; do not use another brand as an assumed production permission.
Placement and proportions
Specify the location, orientation, dimensions and relationship to seams or components. Use identified drawings or marked references so positioning is not left to an ambiguous visual impression.
Material and application review
Discuss proposed application options against the upper, lining, outsole or packaging material. Actual feasibility, appearance and any relevant durability questions should be evaluated before a method is confirmed.
Sample and version approval
Record the artwork version, product reference, accepted placement and required changes. Keep label, shoe and packaging approvals aligned where branding appears on more than one item.

03 · DECISION RECORD
What a footwear branding brief should identify
| Brand assets | Artwork version, text, colors and authorization responsibility. |
|---|---|
| Position | Component, location, dimensions and orientation. |
| Evaluation | Proposed application, sample reference and relevant review criteria. |
| Approval | Accepted details, revisions and links to labels or packing. |
04 · KEEP THE BASIS CLEAR
Treat branding changes as product changes
A revised logo size, location, color or method can affect appearance, sample work and manufacturing arrangements. Review the change and confirm its impact before replacing the approved reference. Costs, quantities and timing remain matters for the project quotation and agreement.
05 · PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Before moving forward
Can I use a well-known brand as a design reference?
A visual reference is not permission to apply that brand. Confirm the rights to all artwork used for the proposed product and agree the authorized scope.
Does a digital mock-up approve the final logo appearance?
Only the approval scope actually agreed applies. Material effects, construction and application may require a physical sample before final production details are accepted.
